What you?ll do

We?re looking for a Systems Technical Support Engineer who will provide technical support for the installation, configuration and deployment of SAS software running on Java Application Servers.

As a Systems Technical Support Engineer, You will:
? Provide first and second level support for external and internal customers
? Prioritize, diagnose and manage customer reported problems including writing thorough, detailed problem descriptions
? Prepare and review written documentation
? Participate in installations of SAS software which utilize third party application servers
? Record and manage confirmed software bugs
? Provide product feedback to development and marketing
? Build technical relationships with appropriate groups and individuals in development and with third party Java Runtime and application server providers
? Report on and track feature requests and problems with third party vendors
? Provide both formal and informal training to Technical Support staff on various application server topics, and perform other duties as assigne

Required Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience
? Experience using Windows or UNIX operating system
? Ability to resolve user questions through a combination of independent study, investigative programming, and collaborative efforts with team members
? You?re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do

Preferred Qualifications
? Knowledge of Java.
? Experience writing and debugging script files on Windows and UNIX.
