(*comScore Total Visits, September 2023) Day to Day The Technical Security Program Manager - Security Awareness Training and Development will effectively deliver business results by promoting a culture of accountability and consistent application of project & program management practices. We are facilitators and motivators, working across departments and offices to ensure collaboration, communication, visibility, and successful delivery of programs and projects. This role will be accountable for helping teams achieve their goals, work strategically together, and remain as adaptable as possible in a fun, ever-changing environment. We are looking for a Technical Security Program Manager who specializes in Security Awareness and Training Development to help in the continued maturity of Indeed?s security awareness culture. This role will focus on developing in-house security training, communications, and other awareness events. Our goal is to mitigate human risk by delivering the right information to the right people at the right time. In this role, you?ll get the opportunity to create a program that will help amplify the voice of security across various groups and levels within the business. Responsibilities: ? Ensure Indeed's security awareness culture program meets all industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements. ? Develop, implement, and oversee a security training and development program. Including a variety of creative ways to engage various audiences across the business through various training mechanisms. This includes coordinating Indeed?s annual internal security conference, garnering over 1,000 attendees. ? Work closely with learning and development teams and technical SMEs. Identifying areas of risk and develop targeted and roles-based information security training, education, and awareness activities. ? Own the design, development, and implementation of security and technical training programs of a broad organizational scope, including but not limited to, tailored training for code developers and committers. This includes defining the objectives, writing scripts, defining the audiences, and producing educational training/videos and assessments. ? Conduct assessments to identify training needs and requirements including ensuring multiple learning styles are included in the course design by using various communication channels. ? Develop training materials beyond CBT and web-based training to include training handbooks, job aids, models, multimedia visual aids, computer, and web-based tutorials- the more creative, the better! ? Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of existing security training, leveraging feedback tools and metrics to drive improvements and measure effectiveness to ensure it incorporates best practices and learning principles. As a result, you will be able to deliver the highest quality training programs based on needs identified through ongoing examination of the organization's risks and needs. ? Leverage 1st party and 3rd party technologies to create engaging learning experiences that are specific to the Indeed environment, while leveraging existing content not developed in-house to supplement ongoing training and awareness. ? Work with the security team to identify the top human risks to our organization and the behaviors we need to change to manage those risks. Ensure Indeed's program effectively changes these behaviors so our workforce acts securely, reducing the most risk to our organization. ? Create a positive program that builds on our culture and engages people to focus on changing behaviors both at home and at work. We want our employees to demonstrate the same secure behaviors regardless of where they are or whose technologies they are using. ? Structure and maintain this program to be long-term, aiming to transform not just behaviors but the overall culture. ? Identify and report on meaningful metrics to measure program performance and associated human risks. Requirements: ? Highly adaptable in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment; thrives when working autonomously. ? Experience developing and delivering engaging and fun security training, end-to-end with mastery of instructional design principles, training techniques, and adult learning theories. ? Proven experience in designing and developing learning solutions and experiences including the development of material for multiple delivery modalities. ? Professional proficiency and creative savvy in authoring tools such as Articulate, Adobe, Camtasia, Vyond, Microsoft Office 365, Degreed and other Learning Management Systems, and other similar tools. ? Up-to-date knowledge and experience applying both learning and security industry trends and best practices, new training methodologies, authoring tools, delivery methods, and content. ? Experience working cross-functionally with various teams, both internal and external to security, is a plus. ? Excellent understanding of security risks with a passion for sharing information about these risks in creative ways with at least 5+ years working as a program/ project manager or technical designer. Experience developing and delivering engaging and fun security training, end-to-end with mastery of instructional design principles, training techniques, and adult learning theories. ?
