GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Acts as a liaison between the client and the laboratory providing patient information and resolution of patient care issues.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Reports laboratory results to clients using multiple technologies. (50%) Investigates client concerns and notifies appropriate personnel of resolution. (35%) Participates in programs to keep updated with current and changing technologies. (5%) Disseminates information to callers regarding lab operations. (5%) May also assist in specimen processing. (5%) Performs all other duties as assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred
One year customer service and medical terminology
