Alight is currently recruiting for a Workday Managing Consultant to work within their Professional Services business group. As a member of the Technical Practice, you will be focused on clients who are new to Workday and going through an initial Implementation and those who are live with Workday; working closely with clients throughout the duration of their partnership with Alight.
As a Workday Data Conversion Lead, a typical day to include the following:
Job Overview
? Manage the successful and on-schedule completion of Workday conversion activities and deliverables throughout the project life cycle
? Focus on strategy, scope, risk, escalations, staffing and budget
? Ensure adherence to Cloud Deployment Solutions (CDS) conversion and reporting methodology and best practices
? Train and mentor less experienced team members
? Engage on multiple concurrent projects
Accountabilities
? Facilitate client discussions on data requirements, conversion methodology and data validation
? Adhere to Alight Cloud Deployment Solutions (CDS) conversion and reporting methodology and best practices
? Supervise team through execution of conversion deliverables
? Analyze risk and seek preventative measures
? Perform research on conversion issues, identify root cause, and implement corrective measures
? Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of internal conversion tools; recognize business process inefficiencies and recommends improvements
? Demonstrate ability to prioritize conflicting demands with little supervision
? Demonstrate ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
? Answer all inquiries on a timely basis
? Understand priorities and request help and support when needed
? Follow through on tasks and commitments; demonstrate strong work ethic and set an example for others
? Exchange information with appropriate people to complete work and keep information confidential as needed
? Communicate effectively with team members and clients
? Keep Project Manager informed on project escalations
? Complete all required Knowledge Bytes to maintain Workday certification
? Participate in internal training, Workday Wednesdays and other events that help share knowledge across the practice

? Ability to travel up to 35% of the time
Knowledge and Expertise of
? 5 to 7 plus years of experience in HRIS field
? 2 plus years of experience with direct reports (managing a team)
? Hands-on Workday data experience and 2 full life cycle Workday implementations strongly preferred
? Experience with data conversion, data mining, and data loading
? Knowledge and experience with translating business requirements into system requirements
? Knowledge and experience with databases, entity relationships, SQL and Programming
? Previous consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company
? Experience in data conversions for Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar applications preferred
? Demonstrated project management experience
? Ability to travel up to 35%
? This role does not support sponsorship
? Workday HCM and/or Financials certified strongly preferred
? Workday Certification is a requirement of the role. Candidates who are not certified will be considered for the role, but they will need to successfully pass Workday HCM certification as well as on-going successful re-certification

Bachelor?s Degree in technical, business or financial discipline or relevant field of study.

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate?s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $90,200.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $160,000.00/year (for full time employees). In addition to a base salary, this position may be eligible for a bonus and/or other incentive plans.
