However, regular, scheduled office hours are also required. Here?s what you will do: As WCB Division Tech Support, you will be responsible for support and assistance to the agency?s Information Technology programs. Duties include: Addressing, analyzing and providing solutions for common and recurring issues of WCB staff, such as remote access to the agency network, application and software errors, and maintenance of hardware computer equipment and phone systems Building and rebuilding desktop and laptop computers Maintaining inventory lists and spreadsheets Scheduling software updates and system upgrades Regular and frequent contact with agency staff to provide computer system support, troubleshooting, and scheduling of regular maintenance Providing direct support to the agency?s Hearings Division, including the hardware and software recording system, dictation system, and maintenance and support for in-office and travel equipment For a complete listing of the duties and responsibilities of this position, please review the position description by clicking here. Here?s what you need to qualify: Minimum Qualifications: Two (2) years of information systems experience in IT-related customer service and troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a work environment OR An associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR Completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field Requested Skills: Knowledge of personal computer concepts, capabilities, and components Skill in diagnosing and devising solutions to system hardware/software problems Skill in network management. Experience with multiple software applications. Experience creating interactive forms and templates. Multi-line telephone system administration.
