The Opportunity | VP of Industry Analyst Relations
In this role, you will be responsible, globally, for solidifying the organization's standing within the industry. This includes fostering strong relationships with industry analysts to ensure positive coverage and influence in the market, as well as collaborating with marketing to refine our business positioning and drive differentiation and... leadership. The key to success will be developing and executing strategies to engage with industry analysts and help shape their perception and understanding of Teleperformance and where we are headed.
As important as collaborating and sharing information is gathering feedback from industry analysts. Bringing insights back into Teleperformance not only helps shape strategy but informs decisions around our products and services.
As a VP of Industry Analyst Relations, Your Role Will Include?
? Craft the organization's end-to-end story, highlighting its unique value proposition and market differentiation.
? Foster strong relationships with key industry analysts, increasing their awareness of the organization's strategy, capabilities, and differentiators, which should contribute to improved industry rankings.
? Develop and execute annual plans that align with business goals, including supporting analyst research and securing leadership positions in relevant reports (Gartner Magic Quadrants, IDC MarketScapes, etc.).
? Facilitate timely completion of analyst briefings, surveys, and client reference requests. This includes managing deadlines, raising awareness of analyst research schedules, and coordinating with SMEs for content creation.
? Lead the organization's responses to inquiries and reports through original content, client success stories with compelling metrics, and master editing to ensure consistent messaging.
? Prepare company spokespeople for analyst briefings by hosting prep calls, developing key messages, and creating supporting materials like talking points and slides.
? Maintain a deep understanding of the organization's marketing strategy, vision, and competitive landscape. Ensure consistent and effective messaging that highlights the organization's strengths and ecosystem partnerships.
? Maintain a repository of past responses, reports, and client references. Monitor analyst publications and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve.
? Nurture relationships with key analysts, plan and execute analyst events (conferences & webinars), and secure analyst participation in company-sponsored activities.
? Evaluate and advise the CMO on analyst subscriptions and services to optimize resource allocation and achieve corporate goals.
? Manage and support the professional development of assigned analysts within the program.
? Actively support participation in analyst research, spearhead responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), manage event participation and oversee award and certification applications.
What Will You Need to Succeed?
? Bachelor?s degree in marketing or communications or equivalent; advanced Degree is preferable.
? 10+ years of experience in marketing and/or business development, with 5+ years in industry analyst relations including demonstrated success in building relationships with top analysts.
? Global perspective and understanding of collaborating with colleagues across time zones.
? Understanding of the industry analyst relations process.
? Established relationships with industry analysts that cover the organization is highly desired.
? Superior written and verbal communication skills. The ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels to multiple audiences.
? Excellent organization, program and time management, and content development skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet milestones, meet tight deadlines, and communicate status on concurrent projects.
? Excellent negotiation, influence, mediation, conflict management, and executive stakeholder management skills.
? Flexibility and team player given our highly collaborative, matrix global organization.
