What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Provide customer service and administrative support to the Underwriting department
• Gather data from various sources for new and renewal business to assist the underwriting process
• Maintain file accuracy and completeness while entering information into appropriate systems
• Research and resolve errors and issues related to premium/billing discrepancies
• Act as a liaison with other departments and facilitate interdepartmental communication

What is Required (Qualifications):
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience as an underwriting assistant or internship with an insurance carrier or agency preferred
• Knowledge of Workers' Compensation or Property & Casualty lines preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain effective business relationships with internal and external customers

• Familiarity with computerized systems for research and information gathering
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
