We are looking for a Staff User Experience (UX) Researcher in the growing Innovation & Strategy organization to accomplish our mission. The Staff UX Researcher will work closely with cross-functional members of the development and planning teams. They will lead UX research to identify new opportunities and improve our product, digital, and service-based experiences. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with significant quantitative and qualitative research experience contributing to innovation through curiosity and rigorous research.
Responsibilities Independently lead and execute multiple user research projects simultaneously while working closely with UX leadership and cross-functional teams (including Data Science, IT, Product, Human Factors, Design, Clinical, Marketing, and Innovation).
Responsible for End-to-End research in their assigned product category, including medical devices, web portals, and all user-facing experiences.
Create mixed-methods research roadmap(s) by consulting with stakeholders and leadership.
Lead and execute the UX research process, from study planning, alignment, and findings communication.
Construct polished reports and presentations, with excellent data visualization and narratives.
Actively communicate and collaborate with the User Research manager, peers, and stakeholders.
Mentor partner researchers in the execution phases of the research process.
Evangelize insights to drive customer-centered product outcomes.
Identify opportunities to improve the user research processes.
Work closely with vendors to execute external research with high internal standards.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or related field required.
7+ years of relevant experience in UX, Human Factors, or Marketing/Customer Insights with a focus on researching and developing customer-centric physical, digital, web, and/or service-based products.
Knowledgeable (or excited to learn) about diabetes.
Experience executing primary research with qualitative, as well as quantitative methodology and statistical analysis (e.g., Qualtrics, large-scale surveys).
Demonstrated experience leveraging design tools (PowerPoint, Figma, ...) for research.
Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally on successful research projects with Customer Care, Data Science, Product, Design, Finance, etc.
Work well in ambiguous situations with the ability to drive to research that enables business and design data-driven decision making.
Preferred Qualifications Worked in regulated medical spaces.
Demonstrated flexibility with organizing schedule and working across time zones, within the US and Europe.
Charismatic leader who builds and maintains strong, positive cross-functional relationships throughout the organization.
Strategic thinker who executes well-crafted research to push innovation and customer-centricity forward.
Experience supporting global initiatives and conducting research internationally.
Balancing diving deep with bias for action: can execute quickly.

Prototyped digital and web-based research artifacts.
Physical Requirements Remote or Hybrid, based in the US.
Occasional US and international travel, as needed (semi-annually).
Note: This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements (may work from home/virtually 100%; may also work hybrid on-site/virtual as desired).
Compensation The US base salary range for this full-time position is $135,400.00 - $203,350.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
