Among the members of the Store Support team, you'll be an In-Store Shopper who gathers Prime Now customer orders, ensuring they are ready for delivery or pick-up. You'll be browsing through our diverse store products, including groceries and household essentials. Those who are available to work weekends, especially Saturday and Sunday, when business tends to be brisk, are much sought after in our team. We are looking for Shoppers with the capability to work flexible hours, including nights and holidays. Availability Requirements: ? Up to 21 days ahead of schedule, the team members receive their work schedule ? It is common for shifts to span a period lasting from 4 to 8 hours Job Requirements: ? The use of handheld technology is becoming increasingly prevalent in fulfilling customer requests ? With a strong sense of urgency, the fulfillment of online orders is accomplished with precision and speed ? Attentive to detail, ensuring accuracy in product and order fulfillment ? Being enthusiastic about gaining proficiency in product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations is essential ? The aptitude to maintain an organized staging zone, free from any mess or clutter, is highly valued ? The ability to take on additional responsibilities and learn new roles across the store when needed, including customer service, cash registers, and stocking products. Basic Qualifications: ? An individual must be above the legal age of 18 to meet the criteria ? Proficiency in fundamental English speaking and comprehension ? As part of the job's physical requirements, a candidate must have the ability to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds, stand or walk for a minimum of 6 hours, and frequently engage in movements such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching, with or without available accommodations ? Obtaining a high school diploma or equivalent qualification is a significant achievement for anyone looking to further their education or career prospects The position entails certain physical demands and work-related conditions: ? The capacity to lift objects weighing 50 pounds is necessary. ? During the course of an 8-hour work day, individuals are typically on their feet for a total of 6-8 hours, while only spending 1-4 hours in a seated position. ? Fine manipulation is another important aspect of hand use, requiring careful dexterity and precision for tasks like typing or threading a needle. ? The task at hand demands that workers engage in physical actions including bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. ? Interaction with disinfectants approved by the FDA. ? The temperature gauge is an imperative tool that lets us measure the impact of different temperatures, be it freezing or scorching. ? Capability to operate on a timetable that is accommodating and necessitates availability during night hours, weekends, and holiday periods. ? Capability to utilize different types of machinery and tools, such as electric pallet jacks, box cutters, and other heavy equipment. ? It could be imperative to use a ladder. Team Members who are recently hired and successfully finish their first 90 days of employment while continuing to work in a qualifying position may receive a raise in their base salary.
