Specialty Pharmacy Technician - Remote in Florida & Texas

Growing together.As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician , you'll be responsible for interpreting and entering prescription data in our pharmacy system, answering incoming calls and completing outbound calls to / from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. You'll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details / clinical information. It's a fast paced, high-volume environment where our members are counting on us to deliver these important, sometimes life - saving medications in an accurate and efficient manner.If you live in the state of Texas or Florida, you'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
• Verify appropriate and accurate patient information
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy system
• Contact patients, pharmacists, and providers to resolve issues
• Other assignments and projects as needed
• Maintain proficiency and quality as standardized by the department

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• Current Pharmacy Technician state license in state of employment without restrictions
• 1+ years of pharmacy prescription processing experience
• Intermediate level of proficiency with computer navigation and Microsoft programs such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint
• Must be flexible to work between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday. Shift will be consistent once determined. Overtime may be required on weekdays and weekends as needed
• Must be available to work a permanent weekend shift to meet business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
• Specialty pharmacy experience
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or NHA)
