Join the Point-of-Sale Modernization team as a technical software engineer. We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate with management, peers, technology vendors, and business unit customers.

Responsibilities: ? Design, develop, and maintain software applications for the POS platform, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and scalability. ? Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. ? Implement new features and functionalities to enhance the capabilities of the point-of-sale. ? Assist with production installs, pilot monitoring, and problem determination. ? Work closely with quality assurance and testers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software solutions that will enhance customer experience. ? Stay up to date on emerging technologies that may be applied to the point-of-sale. ? Ensure the code you develop meets security and compliance policies. ? Participate in and be an advocate for Test Driven Development ? Bachelor?s degree in computer science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience ? 1+ years of software engineering experience ? 1+ years of experience developing and supporting enterprise applications. ? 1+ years of experience developing applications in C# using the .NET framework. ? Experience analyzing and creating SQL statements and stored procedures with SQL Server ? Understanding of Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) ? Experience with Microsoft PowerShell or similar scripting language. ? 3+ years coding experience ? 3+ years of experience developing and supporting enterprise applications. ? 2+ Experience developing WebAPI?s using the .NET framework. ? Knowledge of infrastructure-related systems client/server, workstations, servers, networks, and database ? Experience supporting retail applications. ? Knowledge of PCI and HIPAA regulations ? Experience with source control (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git, TFS) ? Experience with Angular applications. ? Experience with Agile development methodologies. ?
