Description


Amazon Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Desk Specialist to join our dynamic team in Washington. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our internal employees needing IT support. Ensuring exceptional customer service, you will assist in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT systems.


Requirements


– Proven experience as a Service Desk Specialist, IT Support Specialist, or similar role


– Strong knowledge of IT systems, software, and hardware


– Excellent problem-solving and communication skills


– Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Responsibilities


– Provide first-level technical support to internal employees


– Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues via phone, email, or in-person


– Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions within the ticketing system


– Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams


– Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up workstations and accounts


– Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with IT best practices and technologies


Educational Qualifications


– Bachelor? degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)


Experience


– Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role


– Experience with Windows and MacOS environments


– Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software
