Job Description

CVS Health is seeking a dedicated Remote Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Remote Nurse Specialist, you will leverage your clinical expertise to provide high-quality healthcare services to patients through virtual means. Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of residence and ability to obtain licensure in other states as required.


• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) and telehealth platforms.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Comfortable with technology and virtual communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide telehealth nursing services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.


• Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive care.


• Collaborate with healthcare providers across various disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.


• Document patient interactions and care plans accurately in the EMR system.


• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.


• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.


• Support patients in navigating the healthcare system and accessing necessary resources.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience considered.


• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).


• Advanced certifications (e.g., CDE, CCM) are a plus.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.


• Experience in telehealth or remote patient monitoring preferred.
