### Job Description
Eli Lilly is seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Remote Accounts Receivable Associate to join our financial operations team. This part-time position is designed for individuals with a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and reconciling accounts; ensuring the timely collection of payments; and providing exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
### Key Responsibilities
- **Account Management**: Monitor and manage customer accounts by ensuring accuracy in billing, processing payments, and tracking outstanding invoices.
- **Collections**: Conduct regular follow-ups with clients regarding outstanding invoices via email and phone, employing negotiation skills to facilitate timely payment while maintaining positive relationships.
- **Reconciliation**: Prepare and assist in periodic reconciliation of accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial records. Identify discrepancies and work to resolve them in a timely manner.
- **Reporting**: Generate and maintain detailed reports on accounts receivable aging, write-offs, customer balances, and other financial data to support management decision-making.
- **Customer Service**: Address customer inquiries related to billing, payment processes, and account status while delivering excellent service. Resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities to streamline accounts receivable processes and enhance efficiency, recommend changes, and implement solutions effectively.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with sales, finance, and operational teams to support various initiatives and ensure alignment between departments.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Follow company policies and industry regulations in all accounts receivable activities to establish a commitment to integrity and ethical conduct.
### Requirements
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role. Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is highly desirable.
