Purpose Statement

The job requires guaranteeing the prompt execution of merchandising activities, ensuring consistency in product sets and display signage throughout the store and other establishments in the Market or District as necessary. Minimizing merchandising procedure time results from a strong understanding of merchandise sets. Responsibilities also include product reception and delivery, validating appropriate product placement and pricing, and offering quality customer service where needed. The position includes multiple tasks with protocols in place, and specific questions could be directed to the Merchandise Operations Leader, Store Leader, or Leader on Duty.

Key Accountabilities

? Knowledgeable about the store's products, with strong abilities in merchandising and organizing effectively.
? Acting with a diligent mindset in the completion of timely and accurate timekeeping, mileage calculations, and expense reports.
? Ensuring proper liability coverage and reliable transportation is vital to one's well-being
? Manage objects weighing 50 pounds or less
? Aid in the unloading, pricing, and stocking of merchandise, as outlined in operational procedures, for the purpose of ensuring accurate inventory tallies and a well-supplied store.
? Check and confirm the accuracy of pricing and inventory information, ensure proper pricing of all products, verify the correctness of SKU particulars, and fulfill all necessary inventory control paperwork with carefulness and on schedule.
? Emphasize and conform to the acknowledged safety protocols.
? Perform daily housekeeping duties to ensure that the store maintains its professional image, including sweeping and mopping floors, dusting surfaces, cleaning windows, arranging merchandise, and keeping restrooms in top condition.
? Play a role in completing quarterly and annual physical inventory counts by participating in the counting process.
? To accomplish various tasks such as category reviews, action memos, recalls, resets, etc., timely travel to a specific group of stores is a must
? Dispose of RTV items responsibly, abiding by all applicable guidelines, and implement appropriate storage techniques when dealing with hazardous waste.

Assessing the on-site conditions and comparing them to the predetermined plans, identifying any discrepancies, and communicating necessary modifications to various stakeholders can positively affect the success of a retail operation. Proper evaluation, coordination, communication, and troubleshooting can guarantee that the actual fixturing, floor plan set-up, and stocking of merchandise are according to the planned schedule, and all concerns are appropriately resolved.

Before you finish for the day, be sure to communicate with the Merchandise Operations Leader and the Store Leader to discuss any outstanding tasks, blue dot program requirements, screen correction specifications, and overall changes to the setup (including additions, deletions, or relocations). Also, finalize your work by completing the completion form.

Special projects are available if needed, which may include responsibilities such as maximizing space, maintaining POG accuracy, or advertising promotions.

Nature of Supervision:

Although not all tasks have specific instructions, an evaluation is typically conducted once the work is done.

Even though possessing a high school diploma or GED is desirable, potential recruits must demonstrate their proficiency in basic math and excellent communication abilities.
