DISH Network is actively seeking a dedicated and motivated Online Web Chat Officer to join our dynamic team in San Diego, California. As a part-time member of our customer service team, you will handle online inquiries, providing exceptional support and assistance to our customers. Your role will be critical in enhancing customer satisfaction and fostering meaningful relationships through effective communication and problem-solving skills. ? *Key Responsibilities:**
- **Customer Engagement:** Respond promptly to customer inquiries via online chat, ensuring a positive, efficient, and friendly interaction. Maintain a conversational tone that is engaging and professional.
- **Issue Resolution:** Identify customer issues and provide accurate information or solutions in real-time. Work closely with other departments to escalate more complex problems, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed promptly.
- **Product Knowledge:** Maintain a thorough understanding of DISH Network?s products and services. This includes staying informed about the latest promotions, upgrades, and troubleshooting techniques.
- **Documentation:** Accurately capture customer interactions and document relevant information in the customer relationship management (CRM) system. Ensure that all communications are logged to maintain comprehensive customer records.
- **Performance Metrics:** Meet or exceed performance targets such as response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores. Continuously seek to improve personal performance through self-assessment and feedback.
- **Collaboration:** Work alongside other team members to share insights, strategies, and best practices. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment that fosters innovation.
- **Continuous Improvement:** Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives. Provide feedback on processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency in customer service operations. ? *Requirements:**
- **Experience:** A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, preferably in an online chat support role, is required. Familiarity with the telecommunications industry is a plus.
- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in communications, business, or a related field is preferred.
- **Skills:**
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate information clearly to customers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to navigate customer challenges effectively.
- Proficiency in using chat support tools and CRM software. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy is essential.
