Healthcare Customer Service Representative ( 100% REMOTE)

Minder is a growing, national telehealth company focused on neuropsychology, which is the practice of diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders related to brain conditions like Alzheimer's, stroke, autism, etc. Our team is passionate about helping patients get an expert diagnosis faster and cheaper than anywhere else. Many patients around the country today wait over a year to be seen, but with our innovative approach, we can help patients within weeks!
We are looking to hire a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our growing team! The role would include inbound sales calls, scheduling patients, and general customer service duties. Applicants MUST have at least 5 years of medical receptionist experience, at least 5 years sales experience, and at least 10 years of overall customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Answering inbound sales calls to help patients or their families decide to book our services
- Checking insurance coverage for patients, submitting pre-authorizations
- Following up with potential patients
- Scheduling appointments and rescheduling when issues arise
- Following up with patients on status, including equipment, materials and surveys
- Providing weekly sales updates to the operations manager
Requirements
- Ability to be available to answer the phone and in front of your computer, free of distraction and noise, from approximately 9:00am-5:30pm PST every business day.
- 10+ years in customer service
- 5+ years medical receptionist (including insurance verification experience)
- 5+ years in inside/inbound sales
- Strong computer and organization skills
- Highly self-motivated and enjoys spending all day talking to prospects on the phone
- Highly flexible- we are a growing company and your responsibilities will grow and/or shift
Compensation, Growth and Benefits
?Base pay of $42,000-$49,000 per year, depending on experience
?Potential Annual Bonus of up to $5000
?7 Paid Time Off (PTO) days plus 3 paid holidays
