Job Description:

Executes all activities that form part of inbound receiving, including inspecting, documenting, and storing merchandise in designated areas or on carts for efficient transport.

You will be working Monday to Friday, starting at 7AM and finishing at 3:30PM, as part of this position

Responsibilities: ? Effectively unloading trucks involves accurate counting and registration of received shipments through the computer system, as well as staging the items for storage and stocking department readiness. ? Operate a powered pallet jack/forklift while complying with OSHA and Whole Foods safety regulations in order to achieve optimum unloading and transportation results. ? Verify that the incoming products meet the quality standards that Whole Foods Market has put in place. ? Precisely tallies the inventory to ensure the correctness of the order. ? Attach stickers to the merchandise using an adhesive mechanism to create a labeling database. ? Rearrange the items so they can be stored or staged properly for future use. ? The product receiving section should be tidy and uncluttered with no recyclables or waste materials within. ? Put on board the truck all the recyclable items and other products that need to be shipped. ? Double-check that all shipping-related paperwork is completely accurate and up-to-date. ? Emphasizing the significance of a hygienic, secure, and regulated workplace is vital. ? Strictly adhering to OSHA's safety standards will help minimize workplace accidents and preventable injuries. ? Ensure that you strictly adhere to the assigned inbound door. ? Receipt and confirmation of carrier documentation and driver sign-in processes. ? The process of transferring goods from one common carrier truck to another at a logistics center is called cross-docking. ? Properly reviewing the common carrier documentation, alongside the received items, is an important step to matching up the received quantities with the expected quantities. ? Allocate the product onto distinct pallets. ? Identification tags on pallets can enhance the speed and accuracy of the put away process. ? Move inventory to its designated location. ? The salary for this particular job opportunity can range anywhere from $15.00 to $26.00 hourly and will be based on the individual's relevant experience.
