Summary
As an Executive Speechwriter at YouTube, you'll craft compelling speeches, op-eds, and blog posts for executives, shaping the company's public image and internal communications. You'll collaborate closely with executives to develop communication strategies around complex issues, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels, including social media. This role requires strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and an understanding of executive communication best practices. You will also provide advice to executives to help them deliver the message in the best way possible. You will work with diverse stakeholders, pitching to journalists, bloggers and commentators, and producing internal communications and events for employees.
Must Have

About the job
In this role, you will help inform and educate users, advertisers, partners, opinion leaders, and our own employees about the benefits of YouTube's products, our distinctive company culture and values, and our approach to the big issues of the day. You'll work closely with YouTube executives to prepare speeches and blog posts around complex topics facing the company. You will also lead on social to ensure consistency of voice across channels and mediums. You will understand complex issues, break them down, and coach executives on the best ways to communicate ideas.
You'll need to be able to combine creativity with organizational skills to manage numerous and varied projects to tight deadlines simultaneously. Working with diverse stakeholders, you will be pitching to all kinds of journalists, bloggers and commentators, or producing internal communications and events for our employees.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
? Draft speeches, opposite the editorial page (op-eds), and blog posts for YouTube executives.
? Develop, write and edit communications and narratives appropriate for a C-level executive that also maintains a consistent voice across channels.
? Manage executive social media with acumen, creativity and flexibility.
? Develop creative strategies for communicating about complex, sensitive subjects that are easy to understand and resonate with the audience.
? Interact with and influence executives, and provide advice that reflects an understanding of their business and leadership style.
