Supervisors are responsible for day-to-day operations of a team of associates focused on providing a path to payment and reimbursement for Accredo patients? medications. The supervisor is responsible to monitor productivity, enforce performance standards and ensure the team provides the expected high-quality care to our patients. The supervisor will plan and direct workflow and project assignments, conduct hiring, training, and evaluation of staff and is responsible for team?s adherence to corporate attendance and employment policies. The supervisor will collaborate with their manager and the Accredo Oncology leadership team to develop policies, procedures, and the business work plan for the team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS ?Manage a team of patient access associates between (20-25) employees to promote a positive working team environment and ensure we share best practices. ?Assist the Oncology TRC leadership team in development of programs and process improvements to ensure we meet company metrics. ?Develop, coach, and provide feedback to employees concerning quality, reliability, accountability, and productivity to ensure we meet service levels and performance guarantees. ?Engage with Product, Account Management, Service Delivery, or other cross-functional teams to ensure patient, prescriber, and client satisfaction ?Plan and direct workflow and project assignments, conduct hiring, training, and evaluation of staff and own team adherence to corporate attendance and employment policies ?Serve as a point of escalation for calls requiring a higher degree of expertise or discretion to resolve customer issues and ensure timely resolution ? Oversees resolution of employee relations issues and performance standards, productivity, and service standards. ? Understand each employee?s goals, motivations, and needs to be successful in their role and meet the team?s expectations. ? Work with Oncology leadership team to understand and implement strategic business work plan goals. ? Tracks and periodically reports progress to management. ? Assist in development of programs and process improvements to enhance the level of internal and external customer service provided. ? Special projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS ?High School diploma required. ?Prefer 2 plus years experience in front line employee leadership with 6 to 8 years professional experience. ?General PC knowledge including MS Office, Internet, and email. ?Excellent phone oral and written communication skills. Developing and implementing effective communication channels ?Demonstrated leadership skills including ability to effectively develop and assist team members, experience training and coaching less experienced staff with the patience to explain details and processes repeatedly. Set clear expectations and goals. ?Knowledge of pharmacy claims processing preferred. ?PBM and/or Managed Care industry preferred. ?Ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment and make independent decisions. ?Demonstrated ability to manage challenging customers in a professional manner. ?Advanced critical thinking skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions. ?Previous knowledge with building a rapport with your team members. ?Emotional intelligence and Empathy ?Strategic thinking and planning abilities If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
