Director of Procurement - German Speaking Markets (m/f/d) | The Opportunity

The Procurement Director of Teleperformance GSM is a hands-on member of the regional procurement team, who delivers value by strategically procuring goods and services, and consistently achieves cost reductions projects initiatives. He/she applies, improves and develops uniform and reliable procurement processes.

Director of Procurement | The Responsibilities
? Lead procurement functions for GSM purchases in categories such as but not limited to, IT Hardware, IT Software, Real Estate & Facilities, Recruitment & HR Benefits, Marketing, Branding, Education, Consulting.
? Develop a procurement vision and a concise communication strategy for the region / country within scope, and translate vision into actions.
? Partner with Procurement Service Center (PSC) on activities related to systems, reports, contract management, vendor accreditation, VRA and strategic categories management.
? Work in alignment with TP Global Procurement team to ensure the rollout of categories according to preferred vendors and brands in the region / country within scope.
? Ensure full utilization of TP internal stakeholders, thru synergies, to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the inbound supply chain process.
? Lead the GSM procurement team and own the activities of hiring, training, coaching, development, assessment and management of team members.
? Demonstrate the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams (local, international and corporate).
? Oversee the PO process and POs management.
? Develop and drive RFI, RFP and RFQs, and conduct regular re-bidding for existing vendors to ensure TP benefits the best TCO price.
? Assist in review of Capex projects to ensure costs are aligned with TP Group policies.
? Ensure P2P processes are in accordance with the TP Global Procurement policy.
? Build a cost reduction program, with short-, medium- and long-term initiatives.
? Demonstrate the ability to improve processes via structured approaches, like Lean Six Sigma methodology.
? Oversee vendor qualifications to mitigate procurement risks, and manage compliance with TP Group Policies and governmental requirements.
? Partner with Legal on contract review process for all vendor contracts to ensure most favorable position and reduce after-sale risks.
? Participate and comply with the Vendor Risk Management program.
? Lead the Supplier Performance-Risk Analysis and Development, and conduct corrective actions.
? Lead the reporting on categories spends, and work with the Finance department for validation.
? Serve as the primary contact for procurement related questions, training, policies and procedures, interpretation and alignment for all TP GSM departments.
? Meet regularly with TP internal customers departments to ensure their understanding of existing policies and procedures, to receive their recommendations for enhancements, and to develop, communicate and implement new / revised policies.
? Demonstrate a high degree of maturity and ability to successfully lead through difficult situations.
? Deliver results over KPIs, notably but not limited to, cost savings and lead time reductions.
? Improve the financial and competitive position of the company.
? Develop, communicate and manage KPIs results.

Director of Procurement | The Qualifications
? Degree in Procurement, Sourcing, Business or related field.
? Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
? Hands-on work approach over business processes and spends
? Results-oriented and metrics-driven work approach over procurement and vendor management.
? Track record of spend optimization, devising and implementing policies across international divisions.
? Fluent in German and English
