About this role
BlackRock is looking for an administrative assistant for the EMEA Client Core COO and team. The EMEA Client Core COO team is a multi-function team based in both London and Budapest. The team oversees the effective operation of BlackRock?s EMEA Client Business and are also responsible for managing regional and global stakeholders, ensuring BlackRock delivers the capabilities needed to meet all of our clients in the region.
The administrative assistant will be based in Budapest and primarily support the London based EMEA Client Core COO by providing administrative, organizational, and logistical support. The administrative assistant will also provide support to three Director?s and the wider team based in London and Budapest.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
Responsibilities: ? Manage... the calendars and schedules of the teams? leaders, ensuring they are well-prepared for meetings and events ? Coordinate travel arrangements, expense reports, and visa applications for the senior leaders and the team ? Organize and facilitate team meetings, workshops, and offsites, including preparing agendas, minutes, and materials ? Organise the itineraries of visitors, co-ordinate conference rooms and materials. ? Meeting and event preparation and organization across multiple locations. ? Build networks with teams in the Global Client Business and their assistants along with local business partners. ? Keep the EMEA Client Core COO and team informed of opportunities to better connect the teams in London and Budapest (visitors, events, initiatives etc) ? Perform ad hoc project work and provide additional assistance to teams as required. ? Assist with the onboarding and orientation of new hires and interns ? Support the delivery of management committees, including minute taking, action management, collation of packs and distribution of materials
Skills & Qualifications: ? At least 3 years of experience as a personal assistant, executive assistant, or a similar role in a fast-paced and dynamic environment ? Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other relevant software and tools ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English ? Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to multitask and handle multiple deadlines ? Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels ? Ability to multitask ? Enjoys meeting, organising and coordinating people and events ? Enjoys a high-pressure environment and working with people ? High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information ? Proactive, flexible, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team ? Passionate about data and technology, and eager to learn and grow with the Aladdin team
Education:
? Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, management, or a related field
