JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Department of Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management in the College of Health and Human Development at Penn State is seeking a part-time research assistant to support the Student Success Center (SSC) student engagement and involvement assessment initiative. The SSC research assistant (SSCRA) will be a core and respected member of the team. The SSCRA will be involved in the development of research materials (e.g. literature review, survey instrument), data collection, entry, and analysis. The candidate is expected to give and receive feedback regarding the study and project processes. Lastly, SSCRA will communicate professionally with key stakeholders through the end of the project. Qualifications: Effectively communicate in a timely manner across multiple mediums, work collaboratively, willing to take initiative, think critically, and demonstrate curiosity, research, and knowledge-seeking skills.
