Summary:
The Home Care Medical Intake/Insurance Coordinator is responsible for Medicare/ WellCare/insurance authorization/ Intake, follow-up, and correspondence with clinical operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ? Processing authorizations timely. ? Processing intake timely. ? Ensuring all paperwork is completed. ? Accurate end-of-day reports. ? Ensure that the process is accurately followed. ? Following through to the clinical operations. ? Managing multiple locations. ? Scanning paperwork. ? Fast Paced and accurate.

Qualifications: ? 1-3 years of Medicare/WellCare billing experience. ? Experience with high volume healthcare intake preferred. ? Home Care experience is preferred. ? Knowledge of EMR systems. ? Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. ? Excellent organizational skills and constant attention to detail and accuracy. ? Excellent time management skills. ? Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. ? Demonstrate effective communication skills - articulate issues in a clear and concise manner, and present findings as well as recommendations in both oral and written presentations. ? Results-oriented, dependable, strong team player with a ?Can Do? approach, and a solid work ethic.
