Job Description:

Remote-jobs Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented Virtual Typist to join our team. The ideal candidate must be a quick and accurate typist with impeccable written communication skills. You?l be responsible for transcribing recorded or spoken material into written form, ensuring the final text is readable, understandable, and adheres to our company’s guidelines.

Your duties will include listening to audio files and accurately transcribing the information into written form, proofreading your work for errors, and submitting your completed tasks before deadlines. You’ll need to be comfortable with technology, as you’ll be using transcription software to expedite your work and communication tools to stay connected with the team.

Requirements:

1. Excellent typing skills (speed and accuracy)

2. Strong command over English (both written and spoken)

3. Attention to detail

4. Proficiency with transcription software and word processing tools

5. Basic knowledge of data confidentiality principles

6. High school diploma or equivalent required

7. Proven experience as a Transcriptionist or similar role

Responsibilities:

1. Transcribe audio files into written documents

2. Proofread and correct transcription for errors

3. Submit completed work by set deadlines

4. Maintain confidentiality of all information

5. Communicate effectively with the team

6. Ensure work adheres to set standards and guidelines

7. Stay up-to-date with new transcription software and tools

Educational Qualifications:
