Company : Allegheny Health Network Job Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW Transcribes and/or edits dictation for clinical personnel. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Transcribes and/or edits dictated correspondence and reports. May create, maintain, and retrieve patient medical records. (75%) Performs all clerical duties related to medical transcription. (15%) Distributes dictations. (10%) Performs other... duties as assigned or required. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Ability to type minimum of 60 wpm. Knowledge of medical terminology. Word processing experience. Preferred Medical Transcription training/courses preferred. Medical terminology certificate preferred. Two years experience as a medical transcriptionist preferred.
