Description
You will have a broad set of skills that make you successful as threats continue to evolve, and you will be capable of analyzing cyber threats to our users' devices. Our environment fosters innovation, rapid solution development, and grants a wide range of autonomy-within which you will be expected to work with security engineers and researchers in order to quickly bring to market new security methods and technologies addressing the complex needs of Apple users.
? Minimum of 4 years experience in threat intelligence or security research.
? Intellectually curious team player with a genuine passion for finding, understanding, and mitigating cyber threats against macOS.
? In-depth understanding of the threat intelligence cycle and cyber operations.
? Experience in analyzing highly-complex threat actor campaigns, including infrastructure, malware, and victim endpoints.
? Demonstrable experience investigating macOS threat activity.
? Proven history of successfully working on solo and group projects in a virtual/remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
? Bachelors Degree or Masters in related field or equivalent years of industry related experience
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
