Job Description

CVS Health, a leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Telephonic Triage Registered Nurse (RN) to join our remote team. As a Telephonic Triage RN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care by assessing patient needs over the phone and offering appropriate medical advice and support. This position is perfect for an experienced RN looking to make a difference while working from the comfort of their own home.

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of residence.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an RN.
• Experience in telephonic triage or telephone nursing is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough telephonic assessments of patients’ health status and symptoms.
• Provide accurate medical advice and guidance based on established protocols and clinical judgment.
• Document all patient interactions and recommendations in the electronic health record system.
• Coordinate follow-up care and referrals to appropriate healthcare providers as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical protocols, procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Qualifications:

• Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current and valid RN license in the state of residence.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an RN.
• Experience in telephonic triage or telephone nursing is a plus.
