Job Description

CVS Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Telehealth Triage Nurse to join our rapidly expanding team. As a Telehealth Triage Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered healthcare advice and support to our diverse clientele through telehealth platforms. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while making a significant impact on patient care.

We are looking for an individual who is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a strong nursing background. This role requires you to triage patient calls, provide health advice, and direct patients to appropriate levels of care. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring patients receive timely and accurate health information and guidance.

Requirements

– Active RN license in the state of residence

– Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience

– Experience in triage, emergency room, or critical care settings is preferred

– Proficient in using telehealth technologies and electronic health records (EHR)

– Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

– Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

– Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Responsibilities

– Triage incoming patient calls and assess the urgency of their condition

– Provide accurate health advice and information based on established protocols

– Direct patients to appropriate levels of care, including emergency services, primary care, or self-care

– Document patient interactions and maintain accurate health records in the EHR system

– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care

– Participate in training and professional development opportunities

– Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Educational Qualifications

– Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered with relevant experience

Experience

– Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience

– Prior experience in telehealth or telephone triage nursing is highly desirable
