Technical Recruiter / Sourcer | Agency | Silicon Valley Startup clients (Remote) - up to $100K first year

The Opportunity:

This is a compelling opportunity for an EARLY-CAREER Technical Sourcer or Technical Recruiter who considers himself or herself to be 'tech savvy' and would like to partner with some of the brightest Startup minds in Silicon Valley to hire employees for those companies. This position would start out as a Contract role with potential for FTE conversion. Among other things, the role offers the following unique advantages:
? Hourly pay of $40/hr (possibly higher depending on experience/qualifications) along with per-hire bonuses that add up to $100K+ OTE.

? We are a Technical Recruiting... Agency with successful track record of hiring for Apple, AMD, Microsoft, Sonos and over a dozen successful startups.
? We are located in Silicon Valley (San Francisco Bay Area) but since this is a Remote / Telecommute / Virtual position, the person we hire can be based ANYWHERE in the Pacific or Mountain time zones.

We work with companies (our partners) that are building innovative products and services to improve the world; things like personal electric vehicles that create 90% less pollution than a typical car and low-cost medical devices that will prevent diabetes, heart attacks, and Alzheimers in millions of people.
? In order to succeed in their missions, our partners need to hire great software engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, User Experience Designers, Product Managers, and many more skillsets. However, they are too busy designing great products to spend the necessary time and energy to find and screen great candidates for their job openings.
? That's where we come in. Our company has more than 20 years of experience finding and screening the 'perfect' employees at partners ranging from small startups up to industry-leaders including Apple and Microsoft. We handle the Recruiting process for our partners, allowing them to focus on what they do best: design technologies that will change the world.

What you?ll need to be successful (Required Quali?cations):
? 2+ years of experience in Technical Recruiting or Sourcing (also known as IT Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, Staffing, Headhunting), Consulting, or Technology Sales.
? Passion for researching and discussing technology-related topics.
? You?re a humble, scrappy self-starter with a POSITIVE attitude.
? You have a strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability.
? You have intellectual curiosity; you are interested in how or why things work
? You have a 'hustle' attitude and you get things done instead of giving up on them.
? You take initiative to 'figure out' answers & solutions for challenges that arise.
? You are a self-aware and coachable individual who seeks out feedback in order to learn and achieve peak performance.
? Proven ability to perform successfully given low oversight and limited process.
? Native-level English fluency with excellent communication skills, written and spoken.

What you?ll do (partial list of responsibilities):
? Utilize your knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies to find quality candidates.
? Screen resumes and interview candidates to assess their knowledge, skills, and experience in relation to the requirements of open positions.
? Manage the recruitment of multiple simultaneous positions within Science, Engineering & Technical Roles, among others.
? Attract suitable candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.
? Work in a fast-paced environment by multitasking.
? Develop job descriptions and specifications.
? Coordinate interviews with the hiring managers.
? Perform reference and background checks.
? Follow up on interview process status and update records in our internal database(s).
