Sr Site Merchandiser: Health + Wellness PRIMARY FUNCTION The Sr. Site Merchandiser will drive digital growth and deliver best in class ecommerce experiences on Target?s frequency businesses. Areas of focus include Health (Over the Counter) and Wellness programs. The Sr. Site Merchandiser will lead innovation and experimentation on guest experiences as we seek to accelerate the Health and Wellness businesses online. This role requires strengths in both strategy development (developing new ideas that drive both seamless guest experiences and sustainable topline growth via profitable fulfillment mix) and excellence in execution (executing campaigns that enable easy shopping, basket building, inspiration and discovery, analyzing campaign metrics, financial analysis, and solving problems). The Sr. Site Merchandiser will also drive profitable fulfillment across Target?s frequency businesses. The role combines a deep understanding of profitability drivers by category and fulfillment with guest insights to improve E2E guest experiences, on and off Target?s Platforms. Ideal candidates have strong business acumen and analytical skills, can think and act both strategically and tactically, have a bias for action, and can successfully lead and influence large cross functional teams. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead digital cross functional partners, providing guest insights and business context to internal partners (Core Merch, Marketing, Product, Creative, Supply Chain) to drive guest experience Develop deep understanding of site performance, business analytics, and guest insights to monitor end-to-end guest experience, taking quick action to optimize traffic, shorten path to purchase, build baskets, and increase conversion. Execute traffic, conversion, sales, and sustainable growth strategies via guest relevant traffic drivers, site merchandising, content development, and fulfillment program management. Develop deep understanding of profitability drivers by category, and by fulfillment channel, leveraging site experience and frequency fulfillment to drive sustainable digital growth. Provide in-depth guest, business, and financial analysis for key strategic initiatives, launches, seasons, etc. Stay up-to-date on industry and market ecommerce trends, experience, offerings, and fulfillment. REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to Director Site Merchandising, Everyday Care Works with counterparts at Target.com and throughout the Target organization. Works with external partners including vendors when necessary. JOB REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 4 year college degree and/or equivalent experiences. 4+ year?s ecommerce experience. Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically Ability to influence without authority Ability to balance interests of multiple stakeholders and partners, in service of the guest. Strong bias for action Ability to analyze and synthesize data, to make data-based decisions and recommendations Excellent communication and relationship management. Business acumen, strong analytical and quantitative skills. Understating of mass merchandising, retail, e-commerce and multi-channel retailing. Demonstrated experience in planning and execution. Ability to work in a fast paced, high growth environment. Ability to multi-task. Ability to build and leverage strong cross-organizational relationships.
