The Role

The Strategic Network Access team tackles emerging business challenges tied to Lumen's overall growth strategy and network assets. Applying advanced engineering and network principles, theories, concepts, and technologies to solve unusually complex problems through data analytics. This is a highly cross functional role that engages across all business units to drive alignment and consensus on creating new value streams across the business.

The Main Responsibilities
? Assists with outcomes and recommendations of action plans with supporting data.
? Drives revenue enablement and customer capture projects leveraging network data and analytics.
? Leads the development, evaluation and implementation of new and innovative principles, processes and applications.
? Provides these things to our Data Science team - feedback, validation, and clarity of the data to support the analytical outcomes.
? Provides advice and counsel to assigned business leadership on interpretation of operating results and trends.
? Develops key business indicators and other quantifiable measurement tools to track results of business activities.
? Creates simple output content for leadership based upon complex network and business analysis.
? Actively seeks opportunity to improve customer experience, revenue capture, cost reduction or internal efficiency.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Required Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Data Analytics with 6 years of experience.
? 4 years of experience with Master's Degree.
? Continuous improvement and a transformative mindset to solve Lumen's complex and cross functional business objectives in an agile and fast changing environment.
? Recognizable as a leader, possessing outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
? Expert quantitative and technical skills required.
? Expert data sourcing and manipulation across SQL and flat file data environments
? Experience in revenue enablement function across network space.
? Advanced financial acumen and quantitative skills.
? Expert Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
? Ability to shape complex data into an actionable and measurable outcome for stakeholder and leadership consumption.

Preferred Qualifications
? Data storytelling that influences positive outcomes and actions from complicated data.
? Ability to solve complex problems with limited direction and supervision.
? Ability to consume key components of a problem statement and create an approach to a solution and ability to execute that plan to completion.
? Ability to proactively identify internal business risks and craft a plan to mitigate those risks.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$82,969 - $110,625 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$87,117 - $116,156 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$91,266 - $121,688 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
