Special Educator - Remote | WFH4

Are you a passionate educator with a knack for making math engaging and accessible? We're looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher with a Math endorsement to join our team and make a difference in a New Mexico school district. This remote role offers the opportunity to support students with special needs and provide tailored math instruction that meets their unique needs.

Key... Responsibilities

Create and Implement IEPs: Develop and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring their educational goals are met.

Deliver Specialized Math Instruction: Provide individualized math instruction that aligns with students' learning requirements and helps them excel.

Collaborate with Educators: Work closely with general education teachers to adapt and modify the curriculum, ensuring it is accessible for all students.

Communicate Effectively: Maintain regular communication with parents and staff to keep them informed about student progress and any necessary adjustments.

Qualifications

Teaching License: Hold a valid New Mexico teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.

Math Endorsement: Possess a Math endorsement or equivalent qualifications.

Relevant Experience: Have experience teaching students with diverse learning needs in K-12 settings.

Math Curriculum Knowledge: Demonstrate strong knowledge of math curriculum and effective instructional strategies.

Tech Savvy: Be familiar with assistive technology and adaptive learning tools.

Remote Work Skills: Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
