About DSRI The Diverse Segments, Representation, and Inclusion (DSRI) team is focused on increasing diverse representation at all levels of the company, creating a more inclusive workplace environment, and better serving and growing our diverse customer segments and diverse suppliers across all lines of business. This role will report to the Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I). Acting as a strategic hub for the DSRI team within the lines of business, this senior consultant will actively participate, develop, maintain, and articulate a multi-year diverse strategy plan within the business. Will partner and share best practices to promote integration of programs and plans to align shared business goals and outcomes. Facilitate discussions with senior leaders to assess, influence and build consensus on strategy and execution business plans. This role is highly visible and will be instrumental in transforming business initiatives into more efficient, inclusive, and sustainable solutions. A successful candidate will have a passion for learning at a rapid pace to quickly understand the complexities of the various products, services, and business capabilities, and to influence and articulate the intersectionality of customer needs and connectivity points with partners. In this role, you will: Design and drive DE&I strategy and initiatives within the lines of business at Wells Fargo. Develop acute organizational/functional DE&I goals that support the increase of diverse representation, while fostering parity for retention, attrition, and sentiment of inclusion across key demographics in service of successful execution of the broader COO DE&I Strategy. Establish alignment and partnership with peers across center of excellence (COE) community. Develop and implement recurring mechanisms to collectively update business leaders on progress of DE&I strategy and drive optimization. Partner with Talent Management peers to support equitable distribution of performance ratings across demographics within segments of the COO organization. Provide consulting to Sr. leaders and COE community to develop actionable reports, metrics, insights. Offer tactical recommendations to address and resolve DE&I issues for all levels of employees within the organizations you support. Lead compelling, data-driven discussions with our leaders, providing an appropriate level insights in order to implement recommendations and industry best practices. Implement and scale DE&I, and DSRI initiatives across specified line of business. Earn trust across a range of levels and disciplines to establish yourself and the team as a trusted DE&I SME with business partners and the COE community. Demonstrate maturity and professional courage to consistently model inclusive and equitable leadership. Demonstrate continuous learning and development in disciplines related to DE&I, apply learnings to day-to-day activities. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: 7 + years of experience working with diverse populations in a professional setting. 7+ years experience working in a DE&I, HR or business function 7+ years of Diversity and Inclusion experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 5+ years working in a highly matrixed environment 5+ years of relevant DEI experience 3+ years? experience developing and implementing programs and initiatives aimed at promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically and programmatically Experience and credibility as a leader in an environment where the ability to influence, work across a complex matrix, and build relationships is critical Strong project management skills, successful collaboration with colleagues, and a strong results orientation A results-oriented and resourceful leader who is capable of quickly taking control of their responsibilities and establishing themselves as a credible strategic partner. A highly effective communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, concepts, and proposals to engage team, peers, and leaders. Experience effectively partnering with HR and business teams to build effective HR or talent programs and strategies. Ability to motivate, influence and optimize senior leadership, stakeholders and peer groups without authority. Influences others to achieve solutions to meet organization?s objectives, and is proactive in providing solutions, resolving issues and overcoming hurdles to results.
