About the position
The Global Human Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing compensation programs and benefits plans for employees, reporting to the VP of People. This hybrid role involves developing strategies that attract and retain talent, optimize workforce productivity, and ensure internal equity and external competitiveness in compensation and benefits. The manager will also administer health and welfare benefits, support compliance with laws, and maintain data integrity in HR systems.
Responsibilities
? Oversee and fulfill all aspects of compensation programs and benefits plans for employees.

? Develop compensation and benefits strategies that drive growth and attract/retain talent.

? Partner to design and execute global compensation, equity, and benefits programs.

? Administer health and welfare benefits strategy and manage program implementation and cost control.

? Assist HR Business Partners and Management with compliance and company policies.
,
? Establish and measure key compensation and benefit program metrics.
,
? Benchmark company programs and monitor external trends for market competitiveness.
,
? Support the bi-annual compensation review cycle and manage merit letter preparation.
,
? Maintain data integrity of compensation and benefits information in HRIS and other systems.

? Administer leaves of absence and respond to unemployment claims.

? Ensure compliance with applicable laws and manage compliance reporting.

? Partner with recruiting and outside counsel to manage immigration matters.
Requirements
? Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in compensation and benefits management.

? Extensive knowledge of compensation, international markets, and best practices.
,
? Knowledge of legislation governing benefit plans (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, PPACA).
,
? Strong leadership experience with strategic initiative development and execution.
,
? Ability to lead people and achieve results through others.

? In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits programs that support business results.

? International human resource experience (US, UK, Canada).
,
? Experience with HRIS systems like Rippling, and familiarity with Fidelity and Sequoia.
