The U.S. Consumer Services and Enterprise Digital & Data Technology Team brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities in digital experience engineering (Mobile and Web), AI/ML, marketing technology, enterprise communications, travel and lifestyle, and automation, grounded in our data technology model that prioritizes data governance. It employs a ground-breaking focus with development responsibilities for customer-facing capabilities that deepen and expand digital engagement, as well as core technical capabilities that cut across business lines and customer segments.

Enterprise Communications Platform provides uni and bi-directional cross-channel communications and brings an Enterprise and Customer First approach. It encapsulates domain agnostic generic technology functions into Enterprise Shared Services to promote re-usability and consistency across communication journeys. Our platform primarily focuses on fulfillment and delivery of servicing related Customer Communications irrespective of communication channels like Email, Letters, Push Notification, SMS, WhatsApp, Secure Message Center etc.

Serve as the leader of an agile development team that drives user story analysis and elaboration. Foster the spirit of collaboration across multiple internal teams. Designs, develops, solves problems, debugs, evaluates, modifies, deploys, and documents software and systems that meet the needs of customer-facing applications and business applications.

How will you make an impact in this role?

?Demonstrate advance level ability in software development, design, code reviews.

?Lead the 15-20 member of your agile team through consistent development practices (lead scrum, discovery, alignment and planning meetings, common processes and tools)

?Influence team members with creative changes and improvements by challenging status quo and demonstrating risk taking

?Supervise and guide your team

?Mentor high potential team members

?Hire and retain top talent engineers

Minimum Qualifications:

?7+ Years of experience with Java backend (J2EE)

?2+ Years Reactive Programing (asynchronous programming paradigm) ideally with Vertx and RxJava

?2+ Years of demonstrable leadership experience.

?5+ Years Experience with Web UI Test Automation Frameworks, API Testing and Performance Testing (JMeter)

?5+ Years experience in unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing.

?3+ years Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) / Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing, including frameworks such as Selenium, WebDriverIO, Cucumber, JUnit, Mockito

?Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery environment and platforms, especially Maven and Jenkins

?2-3 years working in an Agile development environment

?A BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar discipline, or equivalent work experience

?REST API design and implementation

?SOA, Micro-Services, Containers

?Stream processing/Queue - Solace, Kafka

?Databases - Couchbase (Or a different Document DB/ NoSQL), PostgreSQL

?Tools - Git, Jenkins, IntelliJ IDEA, Jira, Confluence

?Familiarity with security principles, SSL, Cryptography

?Experience building and supporting distributed highly available systems

?Great communication skills

?Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/under-defined problems

?High energy and ?can-do? attitude

?Interest in new technologies and tools, industry standard methodologies

?Passion for shipping quality software fast and frequently

?Attention to detail

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
