Essential Job Functions/Duties
? Extends excellent service to all residents
? Assures each resident?s right to privacy and confidentiality, at all times
? Establishes appropriate relationships with residents which ensures them a safe environment that protects their rights
? Models behaviors that foster the ?Resident First? philosophy
? Communicates verbally and in writing all pertinent information to assist in resident care
? Communicates pertinent information with members of the resident care team to ensure continuity; report change in condition; or other resident concerns or issues
? Provides assistance for residents who have a need for care services including and not limited to all activities of daily living according to established policies and procedures, individualized care plans and physician orders
? Medication administration Maintains a safe environment for the resident according to VSF policy and procedures?reports potential or actual hazardous conditions including but not limited to, fire, electrical hazards, internal/external disaster, infection control
? -takes action to reduce a risk situation
? Quality assurance tasks such as, but not limited to, maintaining accurate documentation, specimen collection, key count maintenance and supply, and services charge updates.
? Performs other duties as assigned
