Key Responsibilities
? Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement an engaging educational curriculum that adheres to Developmentally Appropriate Practices and Vermont Early Learning Standards.
? Design activities that support the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children.
? Maintain consistent and transparent communication with families through various channels.
? Ensure adherence to all center policies and state regulations.
? Cultivate a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere compliant with state guidelines.
? Keep detailed records of observations, curriculum, and assessments within established timelines.
? Engage in ongoing professional development by maintaining a personal growth plan.

Required Skills
? Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
? Capability to collaborate effectively with staff, children, and parents.
? In-depth understanding of child development principles.
? Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
? Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Certification.

Qualifications
? Must comply with Vermont State Regulations for Teacher Associates.
? High school diploma or GED required.
? Minimum age of 20.
? Background check and fingerprint clearance are mandatory.
? Completion of Mandated Reporter Training and Vermont Orientation Training is required.
