Job Title: Remote Senior Visual/UX Designer (100% Work From Home) Location: Remote from Latin America Position Type: Full-time Salary: $2,000 - 2,500 USD/month depending on experience Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 hours per day (35 hours per week) - Our business hours are 9am - 6pm EST. There is some flexibility in your working hours, but the expectation is that you are able to actively respond to client requests and questions from your team members during East Coast business hours. Their agency works primarily with cosmetic medical providers, including plastic surgeons, dermatologists, nurse injectors, dentists, and Med Spas. Experience or interest in this niche is highly desirable. Job Overview: As a Senior Visual/UX Designer, you will be an integral part of our client's team, leading the development and maintenance of our component library and design systems while defining best practices and protocols for consistent, scalable design delivery. The Senior Visual/UX designer will be an advocate for exceptional design and help promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement across teams. Responsibilities: ? Design Systems and Component Libraries: Lead the creation, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of our design systems and reusable component libraries, ensuring alignment with atomic design principles and evolving guidelines. ? Establish Protocols: Define and implement design standards, workflows, and best practices to enhance the consistency and quality of our digital solutions. ? Streamlining Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize how we deliver websites and digital products, focusing on scalable and efficient design-to-development handoffs. ? Digital Solution Design: Craft intuitive, visually engaging, and user-centered interfaces for websites, digital campaigns, and other solutions that resonate with client objectives and user needs. ? Collaboration with Developers: Partner closely with front-end developers to implement your designs effectively, bridging the gap between design and code. ? Figma Mastery: Use Figma to its fullest potential to create, prototype, and manage designs, while fostering a collaborative design environment. ? Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all design work, ensuring accuracy and consistency. ? Establish and adhere to best practices in Figma file management, including proper naming conventions and organizational structures. ? Have a strong command of using autolayout, grids, and variables to create responsive design mockups ? Utilize Figma's tools and plugins to enable seamless Figma-to-code workflows, including working with ? User Research and Testing: Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to inform and refine design decisions. ? Innovation and Best Practices: Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies. Implement best practices in UX/UI design to enhance project quality. ? Project Management: ? Monitor personal project progress and address any issues that arise, adjusting plans as needed ? Client Collaboration: Work directly with account managers and clients when needed to ensure design solutions align with client goals and user expectations. Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies: ? Experience: 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably within a digital agency or fast-paced environment. ? Design Expertise: Strong understanding of atomic design methodology and experience building and maintaining scalable design systems. ? Technical Skills: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as modern frameworks like React and Next.js. ? Tools Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Figma for designing, prototyping, and managing collaborative design assets. Deep knowledge of graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite). ? Collaboration: Exceptional ability to partner with developers, strategists, copywriters and other team members to deliver cohesive and effective digital solutions. ? Process Optimization: Experience establishing workflows and protocols to improve efficiency in design and development. ? Communication: Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and solutions effectively. Nice-to-Have Skills ? Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles. ? Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative workflows. ? Familiarity with Github ?
