The role:
In your role as Sales Manager you will be responsible for the sales of all products per
strategic plan discussed with President of the company. You are supported by the Sales Support
Coordinator and local logistics coordinator. They work on the quotations and process orders. The Sales Support
Coordinator conducts market research and analysis and takes actions to generate future leads.
Assignment:
Realizing the commercial plan and growth per the strategic plan set forth according to the approved KPI?s.
Responsibilities: High Level ? Develops the sales plan, derived from the strategy plan
? Translates and implements the chosen strategy into operational plans, processes, etc.
? Directs, supervises, and coaches staff during implementation
? Reports progress to the management
? Advises on hiring of new staff
Policy / Strategy
? Develops and executes the sales strategy by coordinating ideas and practices with the President and
colleagues
? In collaboration with the marketing and product management department of Bruynzeel Storage Systems,
translates market needs into required marketing materials, campaigns and assortment optimizations
? Drafts, distributes and coordinates periodic reports on sales (development), margins, order intake. (CRM
Management)
? Analyzes and researches relevant internal and external developments and makes proposals regarding the
expansion of markets, customer (groups), products and services.
Network and relationship management
?
Maintains and builds a global network related to strategy, standards and values of our organization
? Visits customers
Account management
?
Acquires leads and quotation requests through a) networking, b) making customer visits and/or proactively
approaching existing and new customers c) analysis of market information
? Identifies customer needs and translates them into a request that clearly describes the customer's situation,
goals, requirements, wishes and needs
? Manages customer expectations and ensures that this leads to customer satisfaction
? Provides complete information for the preparation of a quotation and transfers it to the Design team
? Determines the strategy and tactics for projects and achieves the agreed goals of each project (solution
chosen (technical quality versus costs), delivery time, costs, customer satisfaction).
? Cultivates potential clients and maintains relationships (clients, consultants and influencers)
? Conducts price negotiations on all projects, escalation to President in case of discussion points
? Conducts discount negotiations
? Follows up customer quotations (presentation and follow-up)
? Establishes and communicates pricing policies translated into discounts, delivery terms, payment
arrangements etc., often on a project-by-project basis. Deciding on discounts etc. with the President of NA.
Promotional activities
?
Attends and actively participate in critical seminars, lectures, presentations, etc.
? Co-organizes and participates in events for lead generation and relationship management.
Marketing
? Works the market in a planned and structured way and maintain relationships (contacts, contracts, network
management, appointments)
? Keeps track of developments (e.g. construction activities) on internet searches, network meetings, reading
trade magazines etc.
? Positions himself with the client as knowledge carrier and A-brand, by actively contributing to marketing
activities and giving presentations (at fairs, with clients, network meetings, etc.)
? Provides feedback to the organization in terms of service and product development
? Identifies growth markets in the USA.
Other tasks
? Ensures continuous process optimization
? Organizes and promotes knowledge transfer.
