Engagement Description ? This Pharmacy Technician Role is within a remote contact center. We service health care payer Medicare Part D Members and Providers. Our goal is to handle Member and Provider inquiries concerning benefits and coverage determinations. Our timeframes are extremely tight (urgent 24 hours, standard 72 hours).
? Work on the pharmacy help desk handling prior authorization requests from doctors' offices.
? Requests are received via fax, mail, email, phone and electronic PA system
? Receive and respond to member questions about their pharmacy benefit
? Work from home ? private and quiet workspace required
Ability to work 8.5 hours starting as early as 8am and ending as late as 9pm.
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience ? The most important must-have skills.
? Retail Pharmacy experience ? at least 2 years
? Good computer skills (Typing, outlook, excel, etc)
? Good fundamental knowledge of drug names and drug classes
