Job Description:

We are seeking a highly professional and skilled Medical Assistant to join our exclusive concierge, women?s health functional medicine practice. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to deliver superior healthcare experiences far beyond the traditional model. Responsibilities:

Assist doctor with procedures and manage administrative tasks.

Provide comprehensive patient education on medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care.

Handle scheduling, patient onboarding, and manage medical records efficiently.

Engage in patient communication, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and care.

Maintain rigorous standards of confidentiality and patient privacy.

Support the physician in delivering high-level operational and clinical standards.

Monitor and report changes in patient conditions and update the healthcare team accordingly.

Manage patient charts to ensure information completeness and compliance.

Participate in telemedicine calls and manage alternating weeks of patient visits and administrative support.

Skills, Education, & Experience:

High School diploma or GED required; some college or medical training preferred.

Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) strongly preferred.

Proven experience in a healthcare or medical specialty, with a solid understanding of medical tasks, medical terminology and patient communication.

Proficiency in using medical software like Calendly, Zoom, online prescription systems, and patient management platforms.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Demonstrated professionalism and ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and discretion.
