Responsibilities: Our agents will handle a high volume of calls from customers on behalf of our client (who is a prominent Power Company) to provide customer service support and will be responsible for offering additional products and services on every eligible call. Inbound Customer Service Representatives assist customers with power outage issues, making payments, creating payment plans, or starting/ending service. They will also offer customers the opportunity to purchase programs for surge protection, home wiring and water heater repairs. Skills: Prior recent experience working as an inbound customer service agent for at least one year verifiable. Must also have had an upselling/cross selling component in previous roles and the ability to share your goals and results with our interview team. Strong verbal and written communication skills. The job is conducted via the telephone so candidates must possess strong communication skills and professionalism. Technically savvy, ability to easily learn and navigate multiple screens and enter data while engaging in conversation with customers. Time management skills ? be a self-starter, working remotely while being able to meet various program goals around phone time, customer experience, sales, etc. Solid organizational skills and attention to detail. Eligible candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug test. TelAffects offers: Working a set schedule full time from Home and No Weekend Work. Hours of Operation are Monday ? Friday 7:00am to 7:00pm. Work schedules will be assigned for 40 hours per week. Some OT will be mandatory during storm outages that affects our client's customers. Competitive Compensation ? Starting pay is $29,120 - $35,000 ($14.00/hr. base) plus bonuses and/or commissions. Accrue up to 3 weeks of Paid Time Off after your first year of employment.
