Key Responsibilities
? Design and implement data ingestion models, ETL processes, and testing frameworks to ensure the integrity and accessibility of data.
? Document data models and create Entity-Relationship (ER) diagrams.
? Develop, maintain, and refine our existing data architecture.
? Construct and design database schemas tailored for financial and real estate datasets.
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams including research, product, and operations to enhance analytical capabilities and streamline workflows.
? Analyze extensive aggregated datasets encompassing demographic, geographic, and GIS/spatial data.
? Work collaboratively with both our local development team and offshore team members across various time zones.
? Ensure a working overlap of 3-4 hours with team members located on the US West Coast for effective communication and collaboration.

Required Skills
? Proficiency in a scripting language, with a preference for Python.
? Competence in SQL and the capability to create complex queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
? A strong interest in data organization and familiarity with relational data structures.
? Knowledge of database design principles, optimization techniques, and maintenance practices.
? Experience with Amazon RDS, Redshift, and NoSQL technologies (e.g., MongoDB) is highly advantageous.

Qualifications
? A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
? 2-4 years of relevant experience in a scripting language, preferably Python.
? Proven experience in database management, specifically with MySQL, SQL, or PostgreSQL.
? A proactive approach to problem-solving, combined with excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
? The ability to work independently within a fast-paced Agile environment while staying current with evolving cloud technologies and best practices.
