Pay Range: $22.34 - $23.84 Operating and cleaning each machine or process in an efficient... manner. Maintaining quality product and proper packaging off each of the machines Set-up packaging coders, validate product codes in accordance with code specifications. Identify and effectively communicate any out-of-specification product conditions. Follow the established notification protocol. Perform routine equipment adjustments. Use of various hand tools. Safe operation of a lift truck, moving materials throughout shift as needed/required. Accurately and neatly complete production records and documents. Keeping accurate production records wherever necessary. Working closely with the other operators in an effort to ensure maximum efficiency on the production line. Good attendance is a requirement to obtain and retain this position. Ability to do changeovers, perform CIP, make adjustments and minor repairs on the production line whenever applicable or necessary. Maintain quality and operating efficiency with regards to job. Follow all safety Follow all GMP?s Any other duties assigned by supervision. Must possess a strong work ethic and passion for the job. Ability to multi-task and follow instructions. Must be self-motivated and self-directed to support complex operations. Critical thinking and ability to analyze data and situations is a must. This involves being detail oriented with strong emphasis on accuracy and organization. Perform good housekeeping within established housekeeping guidelines. Adhere to the Saputo Code of Ethics, actively apply the Saputo Company Values and Workplace Climate Policy. Work together in a team environment with co-workers and other department personnel. Other duties as required by management. Job requirements High school diploma or equivalent or (1)-year demonstrated work experience. Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehousing, dairy food manufacturing experience preferred. Good math skills. Proficient computer skills, software and data entry, SAP a plus. Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check. Strong verbal and written communication skills, in English. Good attendance is a must Physical Demands Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid), standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift. Fine manipulation and dexterity, gripping and squeezing. Visual acuity with the ability to see color. Working with chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment and following approved chemical handling procedures. You are best suited for the role if you?
