Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team at Amazon Inc. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience. The role is remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM (PST). Job Description


As a Quality Assurance Tester at Amazon Inc., you will be an integral part of our development team, ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Your primary focus will be on designing test plans, executing test cases, and reporting defects to enhance the user experience across our platforms. You will work closely with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and provide feedback to improve functionality.


In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough testing of our applications, both manually and through automated tools. Requirements


– Bachelor? degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field


– Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing


– Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies


– Proficiency in writing clear and concise test plans and test cases


– Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, etc.)


– Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)


– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


– Excellent verbal and written communication skills


– Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team


Responsibilities


– Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases


– Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing of software applications


– Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools


– Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and provide input on design and functionality


– Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to improve software quality


– Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and estimation


– Stay updated on emerging testing tools and technologies to enhance testing processes
