Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Product Tester at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will work closely with product development teams to identify, document, and resolve defects in our software and hardware products. You will be responsible for creating and executing test plans, performing manual and automated testing, and providing feedback to developers on product performance.

Your attention to detail will be vital as you analyze product specifications and requirements to create effective test cases. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product functionality and user experience. The successful candidate will be proactive, possessing strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while also being a team player.

In this role, you will also participate in the development of testing processes and methodologies, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the product lifecycle. Requirements

– Bachelor? degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

– Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.

– Proficiency in manual testing techniques and familiarity with automated testing tools.

– Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

– Ability to write clear and concise documentation and test cases.

– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

– Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) is a plus.

Responsibilities

– Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.

– Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.

– Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand product features and requirements.

– Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing on new and existing products.

– Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements based on testing results.

– Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress and testing strategies.

– Assist in the training and onboarding of new QA team members.
