COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
? Salary: Starting salary of $36,500 per year, with the possibility of increase based on experience and performance evaluations.

SKILLS:
? Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Assist clients falling under our Company?s set priorities with appropriate attorney supervision ? Provide paraprofessional legal services in civil, family, and other cases, adhering to program guidelines and under attorney supervision ? Engage in outreach and community legal education initiatives ? Conduct intake, screening, and referral processes ? Investigate and develop assigned cases and projects, including conducting interviews ? Draft legal documents and correspondence ? Maintain accurate case records and files ? Develop specialized skills and knowledge in assigned areas ? Provide translation assistance if applicable ? Participate in training programs, staff meetings, and activities ? Report caseload statistics and advocacy activities ? Travel as required for job responsibilities ? Stay updated on changes in the law affecting our Company?s client population ? Make referrals to social service agencies and other relevant resources ? Represent clients at hearings

QUALIFICATIONS: ? Associate?s Degree and paralegal certification preferred ? Previous experience in legal services or public interest preferred ? Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated ? Strong communication skills ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite ? Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality and integrity ? Fluency in Spanish preferred ? Willingness to engage in occasional work-related travel ? Excellent attendance record

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: ? Associate?s Degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred ? Paralegal certification from an accredited program preferred

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: ? Previous experience in legal services or public interest is preferred ? Experience conducting client intake, interviews, and case management is a plus
