SUMMARY:
The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation and management of all contracts including providing oversight of direct reports. The Program Manager provides guidance and leads implementation of strategies fostering attainment of project goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Manage daily operations of assigned project/contract area including working with Managing Director to establish and discuss budget variances, as appropriate. ? Mentor, guide and provide day-to-day supervision of direct reports. ? Provide oversight of direct reports and assist with identification of strategies to ensure assigned roles and responsibilities, as described in the corresponding job description, are met. ? Comprehend and monitor all contract aspects related to assigned task(s) including deliverable schedule and metrics keeping the Managing Director informed of potential risks. ? Ensure all project activities are delivered in accordance with quality, performance, and timeliness working with team members to mitigate barriers. ? Foster integration across all initiatives including working with other project managers and the Managing Director to align strategies. ? Delegate activities according to job and skill level. ? Actively partake in identifying and securing new business opportunities. ? Facilitate and implement methods aimed at creating a high-functioning integrative team. ? Apply quality principles knowledge, acquired clinical/technical expertise and experience to employ strategies to support attainment of project goals. ? Actively facilitate a collaborative team model to identify and implement improvement strategies and interventions across the healthcare continuum. ? Lead, facilitate and/or assist team members with the following for all assigned tasks: strategic planning and implementation; recruitment, technical assistance; quality improvement methodology deployment; data interpretation; deliverables; and report writing. ? Lead and develop strategies and methodologies to guide project teams in deploying evidenced based interventions ? Employ techniques that aid in the identification of insights that guide strategic decisions ? Assist in the development and monitoring of dashboards while ensuring prompt communication of at-risk measures. ? Initiate development of job aids and standard operating procedures. ? Proactively identify challenges and deploy mitigation strategies. ? Demonstrate personal accountability and work ethic. ? Model accountability for self-learning activities as well as the sharing and transfer of knowledge. ? Attend and/or presents at local, state or national conferences/meetings on relevant healthcare topics. ? Develop external relationships and maintain customer satisfaction. ? Adheres to all relevant compliance regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, URAC, CMS).

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
? Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field required, advanced degree preferred
? State of Michigan licensure required for some positions
? Minimum of 4 years of clinical or related healthcare experience required
? Minimum 1-year project management experience required
? Minimum of 4 years of experience required in a Quality Improvement Organization or similar contract experience
? Ability to read and interpret federal/state contracts and regulations
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills including public speaking required
? Exceptional organizational, project management and customer service skills required
? Experience with electronic documentation
? Ability to multi task working on more than one contract/project simultaneously
? Excellent customer service skills required
? Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting federal/state contracts and regulations
? Travel Required
COMPUTER SKILLS:
? Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
? Health information technology experience/knowledge preferred
? Working knowledge of SharePoint and workflow programs.
