Serving youth sports communities, our app is used to score and live stream millions of games each year. In this role you??l report to our Analytics Lead. You??l analyze our user and business data to produce data-driven insights to help product managers make the best decisions possible. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of analytics, work on impactful projects, and contribute to the growth of our organization so join us for a 2024 internship where you can have an impact and grow your skills for the road that lies ahead. What You Can Expect: Derive actionable insights from our rich datasets of behavioral and business data Build data visualizations and dashboards that clearly communicate findings Get mentorship from other GameChanger teammates to guide you through your experience. You??l learn things like Git version control, code review, using code notebooks, and data storytelling. Work with great people across the company like data engineers and product managers, an awesome product, and have lots of fun together along the way! Use our modern data stack tools like snowflake, dbt, Looker, and Hex What We??e Looking For In You: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable cleaning and manipulating data, and drawing insights from it. We use SQL, Looker (a BI tool), Python/R. Experience with any one of these is enough. We can help you learn the rest. You love solving problems and working with others to deliver business value. Genuine curiosity in understanding user behavior and enhancing product experiences. Organized and proactive team player who is results-oriented and has excellent time management skills. Great communicator and enthusiastic about using technology to enhance people?? lives. You are pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in a quantitative field. We welcome students with a love of tech, sports, and sports communities. What?? In It For You: 10 weeks of experience working with a real product team on an app that is used by millions of people. $28 per hour pay for your contributions. Hands-on learning with a modern tech stack & architecture. Working remotely, and enjoying your summer from wherever you choose to in the country. Building industry connections with intern peers & GC employees, and a trip to NYC to our main office. MacBooks provided for the duration of the internship by GC. Building things that get released. QUALIFICATIONS: What We??e Looking For In You: Pursuing a Bachelor?? degree in Computer Science or a related field. Interest and ability to learn new programming languages & tools. Organized, curious, and proactive team player who is results-oriented. Great communicator and enthusiastic about using technology to enhance people?? lives. Big plus if you have experience developing with parts of our tech stack: iOS, Android, node.js, and more! What?? In It For You: 10-12 weeks of experience working with a real product team on an app that is used by millions of people. - $40 per hour pay for your contributions. Hands-on learning with a modern tech stack & architecture. Working remotely, and enjoying your summer from wherever you choose to in the country.
